Dorset’s unique landscape is home to an incredible variety of wildlife and natural spaces. Like many parts of the UK, nature in Dorset faces ongoing challenges, and action is needed to support its recovery.
Nature Recovery Dorset is a movement to restore, enhance and connect spaces for nature in our county. It has been collectively created to help build on the great work already underway, drive forward more action and create a more wildlife-rich county.
Dorset’s local nature recovery strategy is a tool to help everyone work together towards a shared vision for nature and achieve benefits for our wellbeing and communities. There are lots of ways for everyone to get involved.
