Lyme Regis Housing Needs Survey
Overview
Lyme Regis Community Land Trust, Dorset Council & Dorset Community Action are working together to conduct an online housing survey to help plan for the future.
This survey can be completed by all residents and anyone with a local connection to the town, regardless of their housing situation. This will help us better understand the current housing provision in the area and identify if there is a need for affordable housing.
A local connection means you or your family live or have lived in Lyme Regis, or you currently work more than 16 hours a week in the town.
This survey is anonymous and will be handled in line with Dorset Council's confidentiality procedures and should take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete.

Why your views matter
As part of creating a genuinely representative idea of housing need, Lyme Regis Community Land Trust is pressing for a more detailed housing survey to get a clearer idea of what may be needed in the town, to help sustain a thriving community for the future. We want to know what sort of new housing is required in Lyme Regis. We would like Lyme Regis residents and people with a local connection to Lyme Regis to be involved in this process, to help influence the right sort of new housing.
What happens next
The results of this survey will help Dorset Council and Lyme Regis Community Land Trust understand the current housing situation in the area and plan for the future.
A report will be produced to show the results and made available to the Lyme Regis Community Land Trust.
