Church Knowle Housing Needs Survey
Overview
Church Knowle Parish Council, Dorset Council & Dorset Community Action are working together to conduct an online housing survey to help plan for the future.
This survey can be completed by all residents and anyone with a local connection to the parish, regardless of their housing situation. This will help us better understand the current housing provision in the area and identify if there is a need for affordable housing.
A local connection means you or your family live or have lived in Church Knowle Parish, or you currently work more than 16 hours a week in the Parish.
This survey should take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete.

Why your views matter
As part of creating a genuinely representative Neighbourhood Plan, we are pressing for a more detailed housing survey to get a clearer idea of what may be needed in the parish in order to sustain a thriving community for the future. We want to be in the best position to insist on the right sort of targeted new housing, based on a thorough needs analysis and following full engagement with the community. We aim to be well prepared to ensure that any development aligns with our community's values and needs.
What happens next
The results of this survey will help Dorset Council and Church Knowle understand the current housing situation in the area and plan for the future.
A report will be produced to show the results and made available to the Church Knowle Parish Council and Church Knowle Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.
