Charmouth Housing Needs Survey

Overview

Charmouth Parish Council, Dorset Council & Dorset Community Action are working together to conduct an online housing survey to help plan for the future. 

This survey can be completed by all residents and anyone with a local connection to the parish, regardless of their housing situation. This will help us better understand the current housing provision in the area and identify if there is a need for affordable housing. 

A local connection means you or your family live or have lived in Charmouth Parish, or you currently work more than 16 hours a week in the Parish. 

This survey should take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete.

Why your views matter

As part of creating a genuinely representative Neighbourhood Plan, Charmouth Parish Council are pressing for a more detailed housing survey to get a clearer idea of what may be needed in the parish in order to sustain a thriving community for the future. We want to know what sort of new housing is required in Charmouth. We would like Charmouth residents and people with a local connection to Charmouth to be involved in the process, so we are in the best position to influence the right sort of targeted new housing.
