Julian's Bridge footway trial
Dorset Council is trialling a temporary footway on Julian's Bridge to provide a safe route for pedestrians, created by making the bridge into a signal traffic lane with temporary traffic signals. The trial will run from 26 May until 3 July 2026 to give a clear understanding of the effects of the lights in different circumstances, including special events, school half term and when traffic is at normal levels.
